Default My first CFL grow
Hey all, what's up thank for checking out my grow log.

Well to start off this is really my first "working grow" I done it once before with only a incandescence light when I was younger, and got caught. Also outside but a snow storm in April last year killed em. Now that I'm older and talked to the rents about it, they don't mind, as long as I don't go crazy with it and grow a bunch and start sellin. I have growing in my blood, my dad used to live on a farm and grow it himself and I've heard stories from people that he had some of the best stuff around, so maybe it will just come natural to me lol. After several germination attempts I finally got one going, around the first weekend of September, so it about 2 weeks old now. I already fucking droped and spilled it outside right when it first born, but it has recovered and start growing very well. I started with 24 hours of light for about 2 or 3 days when it was first born to help start its growth. Then went straight to 12/12 to help cut down on the grow size, and I've seen PC grows do well with 12/12 from seed. Right now I only have 29 watt 3-Way CFL, but it's getting the job done well. Some time in the future I gonna buy a Y socket and buy 2 42 watters for the rest of the cycle. I don't want a lot of light because I think it will cause some size problems. This right now is just a experiment/experience for me , I'm not looking for the best bud ever, or a huge harvest. But getting a blunt of my own homegrown will be pretty sweet to me.

I guess its not too bad, but you will need even more light than the 2 bulbs for flowering. I have 6 bulbs on 2 plants and they just passed 2 weeks old. Both plants are about a foot tall but over a foot across, very bushy. Good luck with the grow

Good ol' MG. I know more bulbs will = more, but I'm just doing for the hell of it to see how it works, really I think I'm gonna get a boy or a Hermie with all the abuse lol . I plan on doing some LST ing and topping to help the buds when it flowers, but who knows. I might get two Y's and have 3 bulbs which should be good enough for one plant. I think she looks a lot greener in person than the picture, alothough today with the lights on she losing some color I think. But wish me luck and I might get something cool, and learn a little something in the process.

dang nice plant. I know my space is tight but I've seen it done before. I don't know if I can link to other boards, but look up the nanomachine, it's on ICmag and several other there. What I'm tring to do is not put so much light and give it so much light that will grow like a weed. Idk though never got one to successfully to grow so I cant say from my own experience this will or will not work, I hope it does and Im able to work around with it to get it to do what I want it to do. Right now all I have is bagseed so I know nothing of the genetics or anything, but if this work-out well enough I plan on buying something like a low ryder or a auto flower plant, because they are smaller and I would think work good with what I got.Later tonight I might post some more pic's but i dont think much has change.I have kinda already notice a smell in my room lately, only when I mess with it so that cool but I hope it doesn't get any worst, it kinda like a sour planty type smell lol.
