I would like to add that Home Depot recycles cfls and is the first (and possibly only) that i know of to accept them for recycling.

CFL means Compact Flourecent Lamp/light. and if u cant use any lights to wire up then try getting yourself a portable camping light, iv got one wich holds two flourecent tubes wich are both 23w cool whites, bt ud want a warm wite or daylite wite for growing. it runs off a battery so all ull hav to do is charge the light and thats it.

ok i went to the store and got 5 26w i thik it said soft white bulbs they say the reg bulbs everyone uses 1 of these equal to a 100w 1 of the regs so i have 5 of them up and on
plus some one said marical grow wasnt good to use so i got 2 bags of seed starter
professional growers mix,its a light weight soil and its a blend of sphagnum peat moss, horticultural vermiculite, perlite, wetting agent and lime for ph balance it says.
then i got this holland bulb booster fertilizer 9-9-6
it says its better then bone meal.and i got this schultz bloom plus plant food
water soluble,concentrated,with micrnutrients.
and i got some rootone a rooting hormone with fungicide.
now is this better then what i had before?

hey...im not sure what u had before but bt if u got 5x 26w soft white then thats good, only thing is soft white is best suited for flowering plants, to veg just get yourself some bright white or daylite white bulbs. all your other shit is good too, u pretty much got all u need to start growing and actually grow sum weed. here where i live u cant find a single bulb for vegitation growth so i just germ my seeds in the grow room, when they sprout i just put the outside and let em grow til they right size and then i pop them back into the grow room wher i got about 150w total bt its all warm white bulbs wich is perfect for flowering. just make sure u get the ratios rite with all your soil and mixes and with cfl's try and get them nice and close to your plants, i keep mine an inch and a half away from my baby so all her leeves and branches are lit up real good. if u got a journal then giv me a link. im more than happy to help out.
