Ok.. I went to Home Depot, Lowes, and Walmart....

I created this list so I could compare them.

I put (bud) and (veg) on there so I could remember which spectrum does which part.. lol.

(#) indicates the amount of bulbs per the package
###w indicates the equiv wattage
(##w) indicates actual wattage
$#.## indicates price
####L indicates Lumens
####K indicates Kelvin Temp


I marked what I thought would be good with the (<--**).

I need some for VEG... and some for FLOWER...


What do you guys think? -- Feel free to copy and paste my list in your own post and then make an indication at the lights you would suggest.

Even though the Walmart Softwhite one has 2700lumens VS HomeDepots 2600Lumens?

And the Daylight 1600L (walmart) vs 1300L (HomeDepot)?

wow A for effort. I read somewhere (which means this may or may not be true) to not bother with 3500k to 4000k, because it contains little useable light for your plants. Maybe that helps. Also, you will need bulbs if you want to expand your op, so the bigger packages might save you another trip to the store and some change ;]

You read that from my tutorial but anyways get the 6500K bulbs from either walmart or lowes. Doesnt matter. Use those for vegitation and when you start flowering buy some of those 42 Watt Soft White bulbs from Walmart. Unless you can find some Warm White bulbs at the hardware store that would be even better. But if not then just stick with the soft whites and youll be good.
