CFLs contain mercury and can harm the environment. So please recycle them instead of throwing them away. Home Depot is a good pace to take your old CFLs for recycling.

Our planet is more than 4 and a half BILLION years old, it has survived, earthquakes, tornados, meteor hits, limnic eruptions, volcanic eruptions, tsunamies, continental flood's, massive climate changes, lahar's, shifting of the tectonic plates, cyclone storms, maelstrom's, ice ages, the list goe's on and on. I am more than sure it will be here after im gone and after my kids are gone and after my kids' kids are gone and so on for another 4 and a half billion years.

Thats a lazy way of freeing yourself of any responsibility. The bottom line is... you're just too lazy and don't really give a damn about the earth as long as its here long enough to sustain your life. Never before has earth faced the cancer called "Humans". So, how in the hell could you possibly know how our pollution will effect the planet long term? You CAN'T. You're simply leaning in that direction because you're lazy and careless. Yeah i am lazy i could have told you that. Why would i pollute the enviroment with my CAR that emit's pollution to drive down to the home depot to dispose a light when i can just pollute the environment from the comfort of my own home. The earth is underestimated, it has been here long before our species and it will see the day of our extintion. It is fucking BIG of ourselves to think we are going to be the end of this planet.
