Exclamation IM A NOOB! help me please!!!

ok, im a noob and im trying to build a grow box with what i have at home. i have a trunk(footlocker) thats 31"x13.5"x18"... im not gonna be growing more than one [maybe 2 if things turn out dif as planned]... how many 60w bulbs do i need? i have 1 wired already, but i dont have any plants under it yet... am i gonna need more?

[side note- am i gonna need a fan or just a ventilation hole? if i need a fan, what household electronics would have a fan i could use?]

yes you will need more that just one 60w..
Is this a 60w CFl?
a fan uhh i hear computer fans work well bra.
can you thow the measurements out? is that LxWxH or the other way around?

j/w what type of light do you have? is it 60w equivalent? also i'm not sure how your doing it but i would prop that trunk up on its side (long ways) and maybe be able to move the light up and down to give your plant more room to grow...i'm also pretty new at this ( almost done with my first grow) but i've heard a computer fan works well.

the info you need to turn a pc fan into a vent fan for your box. GROWFAQ. i would sugest reading throu the grow faq. tons of good info there

its lxwxh.... but what diference does it make? does it?

and its a 60w equiv, but a 13w. oh... is that the real wattage?

and where could i find a PC fan in stores... i dont have the luxury of ordering since i am without a credit card for now...

like i said... im a noob, and a stupid one at that

okay if you have Lowe's you need to hit that up.
They have 42w (true watt) cfls for the low. and 2 per plant is great.
13w is real low and a wast of a socket no disrespect intended

lxwxhx make a big diff. plants get fairly large even when lst. I couldn't understand the true dimensions of your grow space so I asked.

Not stupid you were smart enough to come to RIU and ask ?'s.
i wish i had this when i was 1st growin.

Idk where to get pc fans.
If you truly wanna order online I suggest the gift cards at walmart.

does it have to be a pc fan? could i adapt a smallish fan to work the same way? cuz i have a fan thats approx 5 inches in diameter... could i take it out of its housing and wire it to work the same way some how? and is there DIY guide to do that?
