Default Envirolights.... CFLs.... Spectrums.... o.O
ok a little while ago I had a batch of clones gave to me from a friend unexpectedly, I put them under basic 20w CFLs bought from a superstore, they vegged nd flowered fine (except a slight bug problem I sorted) and I got just under half oz dry weight of each please note it was my 1st grow and they was only 2 ft lol anyway skip to the point one of my mates said to me I should get an envirolight next time and the CFLs where the wrong spectrum, yeah I got bud and it was a nice high but not to much of a nice smoke could anyone point me in the right direction of envirolights and spectrums??

Ok heres how it works. You want blue spectrum light for veg, warm spectrum for flower. 6500k is a daylight or blue spectrum color temperature, 2700k is warm or more of an orange/red light. Those numbers should help you find what you need, most bulbs are marked with them. Many growers will use mostly blue for veg with a couple warm for full spectrum natural light, up to you. But definately want a lot of warm spectrum for flower, helps with bud density.
