Well , i had a rubbermaid grow box going , with 4 24W CFL's , and im aware that this is enough light to keep 1-2 plants happy. But with 4 bulbs the temps inside the box soar to a scorching 90F. By removing 2 bulbs i managed to down the temp to 80 - 82, my concern is , will i still be able to keep 2 plants happy with 2 24W Bulbs inside a rubbermaid style box. I have 1 big CPU exhaust fan pulling air out , and 2 internal CPU fans blowing air inside. And the temps are still a problem!! Any suggestions on cooling things down ? And will my plants be happy with 2 bulbs ?

i use 8 24w and 2 40w for my 2 plants, so i'm gonna suggest more lights and a more ventilated grow box

IMO as far as the lights, you "might" be able to get away with two lights for one plant. Another thing to think about is the light spectrum of the lights are you using 5000k lights or 2700k? I always hear that more light the better, so if you can find a way to get more lights in there i would.

ok you have exhaust and circulation fans, um what about intake?? How are you bringing cooler air into your growbox?? and loose the 2 fans inside the box they are only blowing hot air all over the place, keep your exhaust, create a passive intake that is twice the size of the exhaust and you should be fine, I have a 2 sq ft grow box, it has 3 42w and 5 26w, my temp peaks at 80-85
