Everyone says you need big reservoirs. I disagree.

My reservoir is only 2 gallons and that affords me the ability to conserve nutes. I have had no problems so far. I just keep the ph at around 5.6-5.9 follow GH's feeding schedule and it's all good.

Yeah i have been following zen's thread. I have some broccoli growing in a DWC container that holds a little more than a quart of water in it. The broccoli is doing much better than the soil broccoli even though the soil was started first. I figured i would try it out on broccoli before i went ahead and did it with mary j. I'm going to be building a new one that is a little bigger than the ones in your tutorial were. I am going to use two 10 gallon air pumps with a 10 inch long airstone on each pump. You think that setup would work alright?

Yeah, it should work fine. You may want to use two airstones for more oxygenation, but one air pump will do the job with a gang valve.

I'm starting to reevaluate my grow. I am definitely cutting down the numbers once everything is sexed. Maybe custom fitted screens for these tubs with 2 plants in each.

that's including these 3 little experiments (my buddy had a plant get almost 7 feet tall under his HPS, so we did what is never done... we cloned it while it was already budding)






I know they won't produce much, but by the time they are done is right around my good friends birthday. I'm gonna pot them in soil and let him clip/dry/cure, etc. for his own personal enjoyment. Kind of a dick move, eh? "Here's some pot, but you can't smoke it for a week."

I'm really impressed with my cell's camera.

This one, which is about 4 weeks into flower, is a clone from a bagseeder that I call "Bride of Frankenstein." It was my LST/training experiment. She took every little thing I threw at her. She's twisted, mangled, and sporting 17 huge colas under my buddy's HPS.







I really wish I had another one of these to make a mother out of. Tremendously strong genetics (as far as durability). I'd love to cross it with something else.

Maybe I'll get a TURBO DIESEL male and cross it with B.O.F....
