What will using 2700k cfls the entire life cycle of the plant do? There are 3 42w warm CFLs in the box right now. It is a micro scrog box so the plant does not need to be very tall, just plenty of bud sites. I was also thinking of going 12/12 from seedlings to show the sex as early as possible as there are 3 plants in the box but only the strongest female is going under the scrog net. What cons are there for gorwing under 12/12 the whole time other than slow groth rate?

Start them right with 26w 6500k cfl's @ 18/6 instead.

i wanna know the answer to this to. I have been wanting to go 2700k 12/12 from seedling. I know that there will be little bud but idc. How long would it take to flower completely about?

Well the only practical straight 12/12 setup I've seen is BigD's.

i hear that using lower spectrums to vegg.. you get alot of streching internodes more further apart

my girls loved the 2700k's. i'm not sure if they liked the wavelength or the higher lumen output more. they can be used from germination to harvest.
