First grow, first stealth cabinet
Hi. I have been reading for months and decided to make my own stealth box once and for all. (live in apartment).
Here we have a old metal wardrobe from the fifties. I added caster wheels so I could move it easy (just in case).
Spray painted the inside flat white. Hung a chain to support lights. Installed a carbon air scrubber . Made some vent strips on the bottom of the back. Tested intake vents with a lit match, and it pulled the flame in.
My old lady had some seeds in a jar she saved from "Green" while in California. I started some seeds a few weeks ago, some lived some died.
I have 3 plants in plastic cups with drain holes. Using miracle gro for African violets mixed with perlite (good pH). I use A fish tank water test kit to test and adjust 24 hour old tap water to 6.5 pH.
I will continue to grow theses guys until I can clone them, then flower the clones to check for sex.

BTW, I just moved these babys into the box today. The last place they where had poor ventilation and I think my big one showed signs of heat stress.
I think my big one has nute burn ? Should I have flushed the miracle gro for African violets first ?
I have not added any nutes yet, and when I do in a month or two it will be 1/4th the dose.

CFL lights are on a timer. !6 on 8 off.
I have a total of 8 150 watt (42 watt) CFL's ready to use when needed.

and I agree... I think you should flush first before introducing nutes.

Marijuana gives us a chance to kick back and enjoy the finer things in life, the company of good friends, an appreciation of a good movie, the delightful taste of a good meal, the passion of a good woman, the awe of a star-lit sky, and the inspiration to keep moving forward, knowing no matter what, LIFE IS GOOD and my little corner of the world.. has been cured =]

Also trim off the yellow part of the lower leaves of your bigger plant.. thats food for mold, you don't want that.
By they way... I'm not much of a soil grow, but your larger plant looks like it's ready for a transplant.

lighting problems
The cfls are a pain in the ass. I think I'll order a 150 watt hps light.
Should 150 watts be enough for such a small cabinet ?
go for a 250w hps will do wonders
