Here is my box: Dimensions are: 56"t X 12"d X 24" w
I would like to scrog 1-3 plants in there from clone. If this is possible what size buckets should I use? I dont have much floor space and depth/width. My CURRENT light setup is 4x40w 4' tubes cool blue spec, and 3x 5500k 75w white CFL, all this for veg. When comes the flower I would hope to plan to have a 150w HPS but dependin on heat (im in the garage), I will still be using the 4x 40 4' tubes red spec, and 2x 150w=15-w 2600 lumens, all this for flowering at the moment. I need better ventalation, my temps are high 83-92, since it is in garage. I have one exhaust and one sucking in fan. By the way my plants now are 5 days old and have ph7. When should I worry about PH and what should I keep it at?

Get them within an inch of your plant, for the best results... trust me you need them so close you need to move them daily, to really get the most out of your CFL's

More shots to come later when I get back from vac. have someone house sitting and its my best bud so he knows whats all goin on. I moved the lights closer to the plants. Right now my watering is going good a very minimal watering every 3-4 days is what Ive been doing.I have a water guage and its always in med/wet-wet. I cant wait to see how bigger they'll be. Anyway, I am thinking about transplanting one of the other two into another planter like the one big one now. Te planters are 8", about a gallon deep. I can only put like one in there and do a scrog from clones, will this be a good setup with the lights and etc. When should I worry about ph levels, mine are currently at a very steady 7.

OK guys back from vac, but sad news :(
I left my camera in NC at my aunts and cannot take pics of the beautiful babes. I think the are female, I am looking real close at the stem of the plant and the next node shooting out and there is only hair, no little sac, or balls so to speak lookin things.
Ok now I need a little advice here. My plant is only 3.5 " tall and really busshy. The plant is 20 days old it has 11 shoots/nodes off main stem. There are many fan leaves on the plant, all a healthy green and getting bigger each day. Top of it ea day looks purplish.
Next main concern: The shortness of the plant. I dont know why it is so short? When should I start feeding it? how much and whats the best? I would like to switch soil but thatd be a pain in the ass. Im using some cheap topsoil from local garden. Im only using 8" deep pots about 1 gal.
Lastly my lighting is 4 27 w5500k CFL super wht, 4 40 w t12 4' tubes
*Im upgrading the 4 27 w 5500k to 42w this weekend
* Then eventually switching everything over from this to 2700k low spectrum 42w CFl and 40w 4' tubes.
With this setup I have a mother and a veg room which would be my best bet if getting atleast 2ozs every 4 weeks with this set up? I know it can be done with cloning and all. Thanks a lot guys. WheN I get my camera I fill ya in on some pics.

Short = good!! that means its getting enough light and does not have to reach ( or strech for it. Especially since you have limited height in your grow area. Plus short bushy plants are better with CFL's than tall ones. I've got 3 tall and 3 short plants. the short ones are much easier to provide light for. They were all about the same height untill about 5 weeks in (check my gallery) then the tall ones started taking off.
I think you want to start feeding at about 3 weeks. The best thing you could do is read the GrowFAQ, upper left on the screen. And like 420inmyapt said- Keep the lights CLOSE!!! I've got a light meter, and from an inch away the CFL is as good as sunlight. From 7 inches away its not good at all!
Happy growing!

What about feeding? When and what should I be feeding it. They seem awful short for only 3wks old today. And Id like a new soil any recommendations?

Your soil looks way too thick . If I were you I would mix some Pro-Mix or something in there to lighten it up so a lot more oxygen gets to those roots as well as letting it drain better and letting the roots work through easier .

Well I went and bought some miracle grow, and mixed it in with the other soil a little. That original oil IS really hard? Im afraid to try and break it up more and destroy the roots, the roots are everywhere. Oh and I also transplanted into a larger pot, I think before I had 6-8" pot now I have in 10".

Look for something like Pro-Mix and mix that with your MG soil . It is ph treated moss , perlite and vermiculite . You can squeeze and shake off a lot of that old soil - it should do more good than harm . It may shock it a bit but you can lessen that with a shot of seaweed or something .

MG soil isn't aerated enough to support healthy root growth by itself .

If you run into problems just look at it as a learning experience and do it better the next go-round .

OK more updates guys on my grow, everything is still going great. Im waiting on my camera in the mail from my aunts (left it down there from vac). Ill get pics up asap when I get it. I went out looking for some 42w cfl 5500k lumens and cant find any higher then 2600. So I went ahead and bought two of them anyway. So now I have 2 42w 2600k and 4 27w 5500k, and 8 4ft 40w t12 tubes. I also bought some blood meal and bone meal. Which do I want to start now and how much?

Well I went ahead and gave the plants about a little over a teaspoon of blood meal, and a good watering before the night. My plants are 25 days old only about 4.5" tall if that, but really bushy w/ about 8 sets of nodes, and I just topped it earlier today aswell. Im hoping the blood meal will help boost her up a little bit. I think the shortness could be a Nitrogen deficiency if Im right? I will let this baby go another month in veg then go to flower. Should now on out I start giving it blood meal very watering or everyother which should I do, and I want to pick up some Grandmas Mollasses? also, and give it what a tsp every watering aswell? Thanks a lot guys!
