Default Crisis Situation! I need some info.

My poor plants . The temp in my bow grew way to high after i added two cfls and it burnt the plants BAD. Do you think they will survive? The stems look healthy but i am so worried about the leaves. I would hate to think i just wasted a month and a half. Please Help!

Oh dear. Take them out from under the light and cut off the burnt leaves and then put it back under the light. I have done this to mine countless times. They will be fine.

He has cfl's 16 inches away NOOOOOOO don't do that.
Trim off the burnt leaves and put them back under as close as you can wihtout burning them\
Trust me . its not a big deal. Cfls should be no more than 2 inches away from plant otherwise you just don;'t have enough lumens penetrating the plant.

I've done that numerous times with my plants and it doesn't hurt them. Its not the best thing for them mind you but they will be fine.
