Oh dear. Take them out from under the light and cut off the burnt leaves and then put it back under the light. I have done this to mine countless times. They will be fine.
My poor plants. The temp in my bow grew way to high after i added two cfls and it burnt the plants BAD. Do you think they will survive? The stems look healthy but i am so worried about the leaves. I would hate to think i just wasted a month and a half. Please Help!

def then keep the light atleast 16inches for awhile. till all that nasty is a thing of the past. N
Everything I type, post, and talk about here is completely false, and is no way true.
He has cfl's16 inches away NOOOOOOO don't do that.
Trim off the burnt leaves and put them back under as close as you can wihtout burning them\
Trust me . its not a big deal. Cfls should be no more than 2 inches away from plant otherwise you just don;'t have enough lumens penetrating the plant.
What a weight off my shoulders!I was so worried when i opened my box and saw them wilting so much!
I've done that numerous times with my plants and it doesn't hurt them. Its not the best thing for them mind you but they will be fine.![]()
