My envirolite grow 250w red + 250w blue

so i germinated 9 seeds with 100% sucsess using paper towel method on the 15th of feb they all popped.

so today by plants are 23 days old, below are pics as of 22 days since seed.

there are 6 ak48s and 2 northern lights, at the moment im only using the 250w blue but when i flower il add the red so total would be 500w.

as im just over 3 weeks now im unsure if they are large enough for me to start flowering, any advice / opinions on weather it is showing sex would be great.

how much bud do you think i would get per plant if i flowered now?

also are they showing any pre flowers yet to determine sex?

Is this your first grow? Because you're doing very well, you have the right soil, right size pots and healthy looking plants, so give yourself a pat on the back.

If you are planning on having the 25ow red and 250w blue then I'd say veg for another 2 weeks, but make sure all you plants are getting the same amount of light. Also the light needs to be closer, but not to close else the plants on the edges won't get enough! As for your yield, one can only give a ruff approximation, but I got 25g with 1 200w red and 2x 125w blue, no ventilation, 3l pots, standard soil, vegged for 4 weeks and fucked up the flowering, and repeatedly burnt them. Hope that gives you an idea.

yup this is indeed my 1st grow

hopefully il get a good ratio of ladys, any ideas when they will start to show pre flowers as im unsure how to distinguish between new growth and pistils

whats showing in the pics is new growth right and not pre flowers?

Oh so they're bag seed, I'm so used to growing with feminized now I forget about males LOL

. There's no way they're showing preflowers at 3 weeks, depending on the strain, you should start to see them after 8 weeks+ veg, or 1/2 weeks into flowering. when they come through you can't miss them, just type in cannabis flowers or something like that into Google and you can see some close up pics. Males usually sex first, and you may want to consider extracting pollen for personal use (which I love) or to strategically pollinate some pistils for seeds.

there not bag seeds sorry forgot to mention, they are nirvana northern lights and nirvanna ak48

the cfl's cost me around £40 each

wow 40 euro isnt bad, but in the us thats a lot more..

those look really good, A LOT A LOT better than my first grow looked,

i can not tell you how good the CFL's have been doing for me i run 10 bulbs at 42 watts 2700kelvin (for flowering) 6000 kelvin (for veg) 40000 lumens I like the look of these little girls. be careful using such a high wattage CFL bulb because the lumens per wat go down the higher you go up in watts between 42-60 watts is ideal do the math on lumens per watt before you buy or you will be wasting lots of power for very little lumens you can get good bulbs, hoods and reflectors from this guy he makes hoods to....
