The Green Poison is still up, any day now I'm going to chop her. Been waiting for amber trichs but they just won't come, and I swear someone told me they had to wait around 120 days for just half amber. I'm going on day 80 tomorrow, and I'm not going to wait 40 days I need some smoke. Good news though is that I took off a bud, let it hang dry for 4 days, and got a half gram and lasted me all day. Which I normally smoke 1-2 grams a day. So it's nice and strong for where it's at, very very mind high still, not much couch lock like I like but still pleasant.

The random plant R1, Idk what to say about this plant. Like no smell, small buds, weird leaves, super tall, crystals just starting to form. This odd ball strain is kinda lame lol. Hopefully it will smoke better then it has performed in growing. Haven't tested any of her yet I might have to soon.

Besides that nothing new. Wish I could get some legit beans that I know what they are, but where I live they are hard to get and I still fear ordering online to my state.

Good luck and a speedy recovery. Might I suggest shortening your light hours gradually until you have only 8 or 9 hours of light? I believe your plants just might finish much quicker. Photoperiod plants undergo marked changes, chemically speaking, in response to all light changes be it increases or decreases. These are what "finish" many strains sooner. Start by decreasing 15 to 20 minutes a day. Either end of the light cycle but stick withthat end once started to help prevent hermies.

The green poison smoked good as hell this morning. Every day it just gets better and better. Just makes you super blanked out in the mind and just like stupid feelin' and happy feelin'. Its pretty damn nice haha.

AllDay love the thread bro!! I'm thinking of doing 12 - 12fs myself with all 42w CFLs..can you post a picture of your lights and how you have them setup? SomeBeech, if you're CFL I'd like to see your setup as well..

Honestly, my setup is really simple. All I did was put 3 sockets onto a piece of wood, drills on to fit the cord through, and added hooks and chains to change height. Each socket also has Y-splitters, to fit a total of 4x 68w bulbs, and 2x 23w bulbs.

The main thing about using CFLs is to be able to get light all around the plant, since CFLs cannot pentrate to the bottom of the plant as well as HPS bulbs. I know in a book I read someone did the same thing as me, but used three pieces of wood, attached and them with sheet metal, so he could move them somewhat. Somewhat fexibility.

Here is a rough sketch of my new flower cab I am going to make. It consist of:

3x3x9 foot homemade cab, with stealth fake doors
Inside will be white until I get mylar
600 watt HPS cooltube system, electric ballast, and 6in fan and ducting
5 Smart pots (6 shown in photo, will be getting more)
Bud candy and humdbolt gravity for nutes, basic topsoil/gardening soil with feed in it for vegging
Will add a carbon scrubber, or some kind of oder control later on, haven't done that yet.
Hoping this will get me 2oz or so per plant, with a month to a month and a half of veg, and around 2 months flower.
Floor fans wil be added if needed.
