WW 250watt CFL grow, 56 days into flowering I got pics and I got questions
Hey guys
White Widow here 8 weeks into flowering. In doing research, its been said this strain needs 56 to 70 days of flowering, so I am watering with plain water only, no nutes and only when the soil is dry. Sound about right?
Question number 2...Is it normal for the tips of these leaves to curl upward like in the pics? Lights are and always have been within 3-4 inches of the plant.
Question number 3...The main cola is 24 inches long and the diameter of a silver dollar. The trichs are mostly stalked and bulbed with maybe half milky, but the rest of the buds on lower branches are not that far advanced yet. I am wondering if I should wait for the rest of the buds to catch up or do a progressive harvest in chopping the main and leaving the rest to finish out?
Finally.....This plant has absolutely no odor. I mean I have had plants that stink up the whole house, but this girl only stinks if you bend the bud and really get your nose in there. Is this normal or maybe Its still too early for that with this strain in which case I should hold off on the harvest a while yet? This is my first WW grow. Thanks for all the help!DSCN0287.jpgDSCN0286.jpgDSCN0284.jpgDSCN0282.jpgDSCN0283.jpg

They look a bit poorly, but mainly because they aren't getting enough light I think. Looks like a Sativa pheno, so it would probably appreciate more lighting.
Either that or just bad genetics. Are the better smelling buds normally fatter too?

yeah seems like most CFL grows dun look so hot but meh.

I'd give it another week or two then harvest the whole plant.

I would tend to think 250 watts of light on one plant in a 4x4x2 grow space would be sufficient? I have (1) 68 watt, (1) 42 watt, and (6) 23 watt spread all around the plant. Most threads here advise a minimum of 100 watts per plant

OK OK...so its 248 watts, not 250.

How many lumens are they giving out? There's a useful post on this thread: How many CFL's to 1 plant
But as I said it could be genetic. The curled up tips look like they aren't too serious overall to me. Could be slight nute burn, mg deficiency, overwatering, or maybe even heat stress, though I don't think that's it.

for one plant and u want about 250 watts u might as well get a 250 digital ballest and run mh and hps and have much tighter nodes and better grow and not fluffy weed but nice thick buds
those are my 2 cents

The temps are 72 to 80 degrees. Its in a basement and its pretty consistent with those temps.
