Your grow is really looking god. I did my first 4 grows in my bathtub with good success.

There is a lot of good info on here but if your a soil grower and relatively new, it's a lot easier if you keep it simple.

well water from a community well is usally pretty good without any types of clorine. My well has a ph of 7 exactly.

It's too bad about your seedlings dying, from your description,it sounds like the soil might be too hot for thos seedlings.

I'm a simple guy and don't like to complicate things too much.
For soil I use straight FF Ocean Forrest out of the bag..Or 1ea of 2.5cuft bag of fox Farm Ocean Forrest, Miracle grow organic and a bag about 2 gal of perlite. That's it! For nute I just use the FF trio.

That's the beauty of pot gardening is you can keep it simple and easy or asin depth and complicated as you want to make it. And still end up with some great smoke

He was very young (and I'm not) and seemed relieved to find just an old grandma, grandpa, daddy, pregnant girlfriend, toddler, and weird middle-aged single uncle having spaghetti dinner in front of the tube and not some drug-crazed maniacal idiots intent on mischief.

He thanked me for my cooperation and left without ever coming in the house.

Glad to see you got your HPS setup and running. All of your buds are going to be so dense and swollen now. I wish I could get your boxed up CFL setup lol. I am just starting to buy bulbs, ugh. And I know down the road I am going to do the same thing and upgrade to the MH/HPS, but I figure I can always use the CFLs on other projects/stealth-micro grows and cloning, etc.

About the Beeeaahhch, that is why I am in the middle of putting up fencing around property and will be getting nice big doggie. Exactly for that reason, no one will come near my house without an invite/or will have to deal with Rambo biting on their ankle. Sorry you had to deal with that, but at least you have your doctor's note. Us in non-med states have to almost wall off our homes to friends and family and be ultra-stealthy because of growing flowers, zomg. It makes my blood boil just thinking about it.

Once I got everything put right, I put the girls into their new tanning salon.

These are the Vanilla Kush clones. They are still small, but filling out to be VERY bushy.

And the larger of the Strawberry Kiss clones. The smaller one is looking very sad. She was fine until we moved everything around so Mr and I have decided that either one of us damaged her, or the cats did something because there is no visible reason why she suddenly got so sad. She is from the same plant and in the same soil as the tall healthy one.

Finally, I've decided that my soil mix is not good for seedlings. First the OG Kush shrivelled up and died. The next day, the Pineapple Chunk did the same. I usually let them stay in the rockwool a little longer than I did with these because I was over anxious, I guess. For whatever reason, they are listed among the casualties.

On a brighter note, at the time I got the light, I also got a small set of bubble bags. I didn't have a lot of trim and going forward, I will let it build up more before I have another go at it, but I just had to try it out, and my results were nice!

Awesome blue I am so happy you got your light. Now your going to be able to do some real growing. Watch how much more you harvest weight wise. Your gonna love it.

That sucks about the scare. Good thing you are legit otherwise it would have been ugly. Thats fucked up she would do that. Oh well Karma will get her back.

Yeah, I've discovered that no matter what I've done, if I started with a pot plant, I ended up with smokeable weed. I do think the soil was too hot for the seeds and not because of the mix, but because of the soil I reused. I didn't adjust the mix any for the fact that the reused soil may have still had some residual nutes left over. But lesson learned. The next seeds or clones I start will go in coco with the proper measurement of nutes. That's the way this recipe was designed and so I'm gonna try it that way.

Also, I discovered quite by accident that Poland Spring water is 6.5 pH and 37ppm right out of the bottle. That stuff is EVERYWHERE here. That's about as close to "pure" as I'm gonna get without having to alter it in any way. I may spring for some until I can afford an R/O filter of my own.
