All CFL grow - week 8, how they lookin' ?

Very nice grow. I have not been on rollitup for a while! Hey there Rollerupers! ha Anyways i have been looking for a good thread to follow and i came across yours, and i have to admit that for a noobie you are doing great! keep up the great work and i love your passion for Marijuana for i feel the same when i visit my girls. Unfortunately i was not able to harvest anything last year(2011). I have started my grow again this year though 
. I hope i get to harvest this year though. I am growing Purple Maroc, a very resinous strain. One tip i would like to give you is that for your next grow you invest a couple bucks and get feminized seeds. Seeds that are genetically based to grow indoor. Its a whole lot easier to grow this way because you are positive that they will be females and you get to veg them for as long as you want and when they go into flowering you know that you will have a great yield. For your plants i would say you will have 2 ounces . Here is mine at day 15 from seed.

- Hey everyoneI wanted to just begin by saying my husband looked at me today while I was off in my dreamland admiring my plants and he says "Honey, that's your love right there". And I've been thinking he is right - in a way.... growingmarijuana is more than a love to me, it's a passion. I enjoy nurturing my plants and watching them grow
This being my first grow and all..I'm not sure how I am going to feel about cutting them down come harvest time
I'm excited, yet feel sorta attached in a way
I'm thinkin that more towards harvest time I'll feel better about choppin them down
!Anywho....I hope everyone's grow is moving right along, (I'll be checkin on everyone and do a little catchin up before I go to bed
) My 3 babies are doing just lovely...they are nice and green developing more and more sugar everyday! They seem to LOVE the molasses feedings more than their nute feedings
All 3 of my babies are all coated in THC (even the fan leaves when I look at them under the jewelers loop) I'm just waiting for my pictures to save....I think they are like 3000x2000...lol! I love taking their pictures. I've been taking them out of the closet when I water them since they were little babies. I talk to them, sing to them and play some music while I look around at all her pretty little branches.....LOL!!!!! Still giving her 1tsp molasses w/1 gal RO water when dry then 1 tsp bloom booster and 1 tsp cal/mag w/ 1 gal RO water the next time it's dry. It's usually dry about every 3-4 days or so. I had my dog with me doin a little gardening tonight, and boy does he love his WEED
He loves the stems, the leaves, the smell, the look......everything about it, I swear he was a drug dog before I rescued him....lol! The buds are coming in quite nicely
I'm happy with how everything looks so far, they seem to be happy and really responding positively to all my attention. Here are some more pics

Well...my ladies and I were quite bored last night so I took them out of the closet to play for a little bit. I couldn't help but take some more pics when I saw just how big they had gotten. I also picked up 2 68watt 2700k MEGA CFL's you can prob see them in the pics hangin by themselves at the top. So now I have a total of 552 watts When I bought the 2 MEGA cfl's I bought 2 lamp things for it too so just added 2 more y adapters and put in 4 more 26w's. The shitty thing is that it's so hot in there after a few hours (88-90!). Still around 60 during light off (lowest has been 52)! So I just crack the closet door when I go to bed and open my window (I like to sleep cold luckily) and it seems to be keeping temps at 78-80 during light on then I just seal up the door when I go to work in the mornin. I def. don't mind my giant night light...I just put the covers over my head Same feeding and watering schedule (don't forget the molasses 
)) except with full strength bloom booster Well....I got a TON of photos I don't know how many I can do at once but I'm about to find out....

WOW! I just got done watering and feeding my 3 girls and boy were the larger 2 ladies HUNGRY! I mixed up their food and cal/mag in RO water and gave each one of the larger 2 a gal. each. The shorter bushier plant was not even thirsty yet so I gave her just a weeee bit
I only use the molasses every other watering so but I think I'm going to start including it with every water and just skip the bloom booster here and there. I try to only feed them the bloom stuff once a week or so cuz the tips start to sag and leafs claw a little when I feed full strength.
Before I watered the pots I put about 2" water in the pot trays and slowly sank their bottoms in the water and they sucked it all up before I could even blink. Guess my roots down below were pretty thirsty
I did this about 2 times before I watered and noticed I actually got some drainage for the first time ever....I was happy. Oh...and I also learned that tin foil can bake your plants so I ran to walmart and got some mylar and ripped down the foil spots. I also did a small amount of trimming to the lower leaves which weren't really getting much light.
So...it's been a pretty busy evening here in my garden tonight hangin out with the ladybuds and listening to some good tunes
I'm hoping they are happy cuz I know I AM!

Your plants look great and yes it's time to switch to 12/12. I myself only veg for 5 weeks and on my current grow I'm only vegging for 4 weeks. Yes by all means switch them now.

I'm actually on week 5 flower now, you must of been like "how the hell did she get those ladybuds still on a 18/6!!! LOL again! I vegged the 2 big ones for about 9 weeks, the smaller one was only about 6 weeks when I was told "VEG THOSE BABIES NOW!" so I did. I sure wish I did sooner though cuz I sure do have 2 beasts on my hands now

LOL....your guess is as good as mine! The smaller one smells like lemon and the taller 2 just smell sweet and danky....I was told they look like afghan kush or something, but I did name one "Ladybud"
