    Default Auto Grow under 85W CFL - How many hours ? (Purple Mazar, Wembley, Critical Express)

    High everybody,

    I have an auto grow in the works right now :
    - 20 days since they were put in soil,
    - 3 Purple Mazar (regular), 2 Auto Wembley (fem), 1 Critical Express (fem),
    - Air pots (1L),
    - Light on 24 hours.

    Since the auto plants have a shorter lifetime, doesn't make it sense to give them more light time? I know this question has been asked many times but I just want to have more comments on this issue.

    My plants look great and I am planning on giving them 24 hours of light until they show pistils. Then I will put them on 20/4 hours of light.

    Please let me know your personal opinions, I'll post pics of my current grow.

    Still no answer to my question though, but I'll stick with my 20/4 light schedule.

    I dont see a problem with the light schedule, tapering it down after vegging. Personally I like to give mine some darkness to rest...

    ive always done my autos at 20/4 for the first week then backed off to 18/6 for the rest of their lift. i like the idea of giving the plant a few hours of dark to let em rest a tad.

    Thanks for the input CT, you're the one who inspired me to buy the Purple Mazar seeds. I have one female so far and the second one might be female also.
    I'll let you know when I start the journal asap.

    I just found out that I'll be able to put the plants under my 250W HPS on Friday, so I'll put them on 18/6 then.

    right on dude, i had a diavolo auto that was about 5 weeks into flower that i put under a 150w hps. so much more growth than under my 125w floro. i just moved a blue mystic under it tonight and tied down a poison dwarf auto, super lst. im glad you got it. ive only seen one other guy grow purple mazar. i would buy more to grow again. but i wanna focus on photoperiod plants after this grow
