    yes you can, since the cfl's are broad spectrum light's but the result you will get ... will be very poor same answer i gave the fellow bellow

    Poor enough to make it not worth it, especially when you can go to almost any store and buy a light in the proper flowering spectrum (2700k). Seriously, just spend a few dollars and get the right one...its not expensive. And if you cant afford the buy the right spectrum CFL, then you cant afford to grow really. Just save for longer and get the right equipment.

    got the 2700k one today and swtiched the timer to 12/12
