Just got my northern light seeds in the mail today from marijuana-seeds.nl. i was pretty impressed with the speed they got here, i ordered them at 2am CST on july 2 and they just got here about an hour ago from london to central illinois.

They were packaged very discreetly in a small brown envelope in the middle of a small magazine. also came with 5 free mazar x afghan seeds.

Just started germinating 2 seeds about 10 minutes ago. (2:30pm CST July 8, 2009)

I am gonna use this journal as my log as well, and i will post plenty of updates.

After the seeds break the shell and i put them in the stealth box i will upload pictures as well specs on my box... stay tuned.

what is the seed company who produced the NL ? what strain is it? #5? feminized? i've got white label seeds NL feminized goin right now... topped and lookin great. good luck with your grow, keep us posted with pics and news...

actually... idk what specific strain of NL it is... i wish i woulda done a little more research before i bought 'em cuz i definitely woulda went with the sensiseeds NL's instead of these. I have however done some research on marijuana-seeds.nl and most of what i've seen is good. here is the exact web page i bought 'em from. I'm guessing there's no way it's a pure strain but there's not a lot of info about it. and no, they are not feminized.

Hmm... thanks for explaining how they arrived. I've always been too afraid to order. I have these nightmares of the package being delivered with a big leaf on the front by a member of the FBI (although in my nightmares it's Agent Smith from The Matrix.. LOL!)

lol... yeah i was a little nervous about the kiddo's gettin to the mailbox before me.... they would've had NO IDEA what it was though... I actually gave them the magazine the seeds were hidden in- it was some european magazine called 'odeon' (i think)... had a bunch of info about new movies in it. ice age 3 was on the cover. the whole mag came wrapped in a brown bubble envelope so there woulda been no chance for them to just grab it outta the mailbox and see the ice age crew starin' back at 'em.... then stumble to page 32 where the seeds were taped in a little micro zip lock... it's pretty safe. they said that sometimes they ship the seeds in empty CD cases too.

My germination method:
i submersed 2 seeds in a black mug with 2 inches of water in it for 24 hrs. (i put a dvd case on top so no light got in), then i took the two seeds (they cracked open and sank), and put them in moist paper towels in an old vhs cassette case that is opaque black.
now i will wait for the tail to come out and plant them.

i really like the coffee mug i used to soak them in... check out the pics... its hard to read but it says Illinois State Police Crime Lab
