Hey one, you should also look into the donoharmclinic out of BC. I had them fill out everything with no problems. Cost me 400 bucks, well worth it in my opinion. Took just over 8 weeks, had a skype interview with their doc and wall la!

As for a specialist, you only need one signature. Any doctor will do. You will need to see a specialist for your disorder but he does not have to be the doc that signs.

If both of you medicate you both can apply but would cost both of you then. Personally I would have only one of you apply for now to get you going. You can always apply at an later date to increase your plant count, if you want.

Our system is on the verge of changing but I would still apply. Once you actually have a license it will be much harder to take your "Legal Rights" away due to our charter. It will change but will take time and will be fought in court at every turn.

    IMO

I've heard of cops walking down the street with Drug Squad dogs just to locate suspicious locations. So Officer Bacon McDoRight might not knock on ur door, but he may be standing on the sidewalk with a drug sniffin dog.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I would love to get my application in for my license ASAP.

Ive been trying for a long time now, I contacted donoharm and they still haven't answered.
medical cannabis canada is 149.99 for a "kit" which contains info on how to apply and doctors that are weed friendly.
I defiantly won't pay no middle man to get to my license, which once I pick a doctor from that list I'm guessing the doctor wants me to pay as well. That route seems more expensive than finding a doc on our own.

If I do find one in Ontario ill let you know, since were in the same boat

Thanks. I read in another post that the "kit" for 199 or 149 leads to the doctor in Ontario that no longer signs them due to the Global TV 16X9 interview.

EDIT!: I was contacted by Do No Harm today, and basically they told me to get my Dr to fax them my diagnosis or medical records to their Dr and then he would review it and if its something he can help with he'll do a Skype session with me.

They don't say how much its gonna cost but they do hint that there will be a fee.

(To look at my papers that were faxed to his office and Skype/facetime me and whatever else they do lol)

ps: does anyone know how much grams I would get prescribed using it as an anti depression/anxiety ?

The dr will ask you on skype how much you use in a week and he will prescribe you that .

More likely they will ask you your daily usage, not weekly, and for conditions such as this, it's generally @ 5g/day. Just figure out how much you consume for medical reasons on a daily basis, and as long as it sound's reasonable, and not excessive ie. 14g'day for a mild case of depression. Also consider the severity of your condition. Is it mild? Severe? You don't have to answer this here, but let them know how your conditions appear in the form of symptoms, because while your main usage is to help moderate your conditions to a manageable level, it may have secondary applications as well, such as sleep aid, or hunger inducer, as some that suffer from depression often skip meals due to lack of energy caused by their main condition, and over the years, has transformed itself from a symptom of the underlying condition, to a disorder in itself.

Just be honest about your conditions, symptoms, and daily usage. they don't "Prescribe" you what they think you need, they "Authorize" you to use what you need.
