Thinking of moving, whats the job market like?

My friend graduated from college /w a 3.6 GPA about 2 years ago. She spams resumes all over town. The best job she can find is making coffee @ 5am for minimum wage.

The US auto industry is still down some 5 million sales annually from 2007's peak, mostly because people are out of money and fixing what they have instead of buying new.

My local mechanic is absolutely swamped. Took him five days out to schedule back to back oil changes.

I am nowhere near California (except in my heart) so take my words FWIW.

You should move to the LA area. Alot more jobs here than anywhere else in the state. U do CNC?? Theres a ton of places in the southbay always hiring machinists. And doctors offices down here do accept walkins. Not to mention the LAPD no longer wastes resources on small pot busts..

What's it like for a 2-3 bed house with a yard?(rent or payment) Enough room to possibly do an outdoor in the summer, to keep me an my fiancé medicated nothing more.

Terrible. Just terrible. I tell everyone that Cali is the land of opportunity. You have no skills? No education? Physically attractive? Then you can be rich. Grow good weed? You can be rich. Good athlete? Rich. Cali, specifically LA is full of opportunities that you cant find anywhere else except for maybe chicago or New York.
