I've always noticed that liberal democrats and libertarians were the most pro-cannabis, but do your own research and vote for who you want based on all the issues that matter to you. In my opinion, none of the parties are going to push cannabis legalization. It has to come from the people state by state, until the Fed gives in and changes its policy on cannabis. Luckily, this is happening and its happening a lot faster then gay marriage. Go figure.

As far as the crack downs go, I wouldn't worry. Keep your plant count below 6, stay legit with your Dr's rec, and treat your grow like you would a prized rifle: away from kids, neighbors, and would be thieves. This is coming from someone who's had visits by the police and didn't have their plants destroyed or get arrested. They don't care as long as your not selling or allowing your plants to be picked by all the high school kids walking to school.
