sounds like fungus gnats. If so make sure soil gets all the way dry before watering and put up a yellow pest strip. There are tons of ways to take them out but they are annoying!
how do i kill them? they are not damaging the plants to my knowledge but im guessing the larva is eating the roots only way i think they are getting any sustenance so they might be anything to help kill the damn gnats please let me know im 2weeks into flower and everrything looks beautiful sept for the fucking gnat/flies soooooo annyoing when im inspectiong my plants please let me know all thanks in advance!![]()

No Pest Strips..They will kill/prevent almost anything from gnats to spider mites. You can purchase them at home depot or walmart
Good Luck

I hate those little fuckers, the strips only help with adults...doesn't kill the larvae. You have to break their cycle, soak 1/2 a dunk(crushed first)per gallon of water overnight...then use every time you water. Long-term use of Bti has not caused any harm to my girls.

NO PEST STRIPS
If you kill the adults off the cannot reproduce, once the larvae hatch the vapor from the no pest strips will kill them. The no pest strips are from Hotshot and it says they last 4 months but I change mine out every two months just to safe(I havent had gnats or spider mites since)

No, it won't. You have to repeat the application 2-3 times. B/C I have no way of knowing which containers have larvae, I now water everything with Bti, that includes my starter soil before I even put seedlings in it. Once you break the cycle, then you can top dress with sand etc to prevent future infestations. And yes, you'll need pest strips to kill adults as well.

Fungus gnats, one of the main reasons I switched to DWC.
It helps if you can water from the bottom of the plant.
I used mosquito dunk chips in the nute water. Controlled well this time.
Have a great one. Advice is for folks with a legal grow and worth what you paid for it.
