I always say, your going to war and you don't go to war with just an oozie, you need tanks, bombers, missiles, ground troops.
you wipe them suckers out and win the war, not just the battle.
I tried lots of things to kill off my spidermites and I finally did, in 2 months I haven't seen any mites, the real problem was that I wasn't vigilint enough at first and didn't keep up with the schedule generally only doing 1 treatment of whatever every week or 3. Folks this just does not cut it. You have to be vigiliant for one mounth and use every method known to man if you want to be 100% sure they will be dead for good. I finally destroyed them by being super aggressive, using an array of tools, and treating EVERY FEW DAYS for over 1 month. This method is not scientific whatsoever.
Ingredients
1) 2 small bottles of mighty wash (about 30$ tops)
2) Fans (20$-50$ ish)
3) an airconditioner (300$+)
4) 4 pyrethrum foggers (40$)
5) Neam Oil (10$)
6) BALLS OF STEEL (Priceless)
WEEK 1
--------------------------
Any Plants that are completely FUBAR and very weak just outright kill them or isolate them to another area for super heavy neam treatments on a normal basis.
A) Day 1
At lights out crank up your AC and get it as cold as possible, spray mightywash on every plant, get as many fans as possible blowing a heavy breeze on the plants. You will keep the fans going throughout this month.
B) Day 4
Give them another cold night but this time and set off a fogger bomb
Week 2
-----------------------
A) Day 1
Spray all plants with a heavy treatment of Neam Oil and give them another cold night at 50,
B) Day 4
Give them another cold night and set off a fogger bomb
Week 3
-------------------
Repeat week 1
Week 4
-----------------
Repeat week 2
Week 5
---------------
Do one last Neam Treatment for good measure

yes this is a good way for controlling spidermites... any neem oil and the combination of the likes...
although, just for shits and giggles... generation after generation of genetic adaptation has allowed for many spidermites to become "immune" and resistant to these methods...
so imo if you are going to do the "spray and wash" method... it is best to wipe them f'ers out asap if in the start of flowering, cause if later... they can hide themselves deep in the flower and protect themselves from the outside elements...
alternatively, the best results imo... have been predatory mites... they are your "soldiers" so to speak and they go in and kick ass and take out the enemy...
then when the food supply runs out for them when they have no more spider mites to eat or their eggs... they then go to town on each other and they eat each other until they wipe themselves out and off of your plant...
pretty clean and effective way if you ask me...![]()
Why? It doesn't make a difference, can tell no difference whatsoever and these are also made from naturual ingredients. They'd be more sorry if I had no buds and shitty plants...
Exactly the type of mentallity that will keep you having spider mite infestations..You need a serious bug armaggedon to do away with these things for good..
Also just want to put emphasis on the part I wrote about killing off infested plants...Really I think its best to eliminate the whole strain, if one strain of plants is infested often just get rid of it completely or quarantine it and try to save it.
Some people get lucky with the little subtle methods and treatments but really I found nothing short of my 'Bug Armageddon' finally got rid of the problem permanently.

Also remember each round of mites builds a tolerance to your attacks so switch up every so often. I like to add lady bugs or Praying mantis egg sacs in to a new grow to help prevent.I hate spider mites desalt with them many times over the years. Also helps to spray your yard with bug sprasy if you have evergreens as they love those type trees and bushes.
pure rosemary oil, peroxide, dishsoap, garlic powder, and cinnamon powder.. mix it together then strain.. then add a lil bit to a spary bottle and spary
im from gc, but they run things like nazi germany over there... so im here now
keel them with fire
the cold, moist, windy conditions keep the reproduction rates low among the mites. i find that this, in combination with simple einstein oil at certain milestones (after the clone has rooted, after transplanting up, right before flower, etc) keeps the mites at bay for flowering.
it's getting warm again, people. summer is here. this is what the mites live for. be ahead of the game.
as it stands right now, i have one plant that the mites infested. i let it go out of curiosity, and they stayed on that single plant for a long time. only recently did they migrate over to the surrounding plants (and just a little bit at that). good thing they are ready for harvest, because the plant they were on looks days away from having webs and the others have another leaf each day with signs of the borg.
Try letting a hand full of lady birds free in your grow room, then just vacum them up once they have done there job![]()
