Default What is this? Bug damage??

    Hi all,

I went to water my outdoor plants this morning, and on one of my plants I noticed one of the buds' leaves were kinda curled up and then I noticed this stuff next to it on one of the leaves. Can someone fill me in on what this is, and possibly how to resolve/prevent it? Its only the one bud, but I don't want it to get worse and spread to other buds/plants.

Thanks in advance for your input, much appreciated. +rep to any helpful info!

man thats fucking wierd...it looked like something just stopped and took a dump there for days...do you see any foliage damage in that area?

Gently scrape it off on to some paper, bring it inside and disect it? is it just like a hard pellet substance or is it something else?

Cat shit. They dont shit in the kitchen just like you dont. So they go outside. As they eat the buds inside out. Mine were the same way. Cut that bud off. It will rot anyway with some rain. Try some safer (BT) if ya want.

Thanks everyone who replied. After reading these posts I went and inspected closely. I saw two other buds on the same plant slightly damaged with curled leaves like above. On one of the buds I found a small green caterpillar and killed it. I will keep watching for more. I'm about 45 days into flower, is it still safe to use pesticides? I'm thinking it might be a bit late but not sure.

    Thanks again.

I would prefer to use my intellect, detective skills, and fingers at that stage - rather than a chemical. Catapillars are easy. Pop and squish.
