I would say try some Neem oil, you can use it up to harvest, After you harvest,
I would Bleach EVERYTHING! and after the bleach use 70% alcohol on EVERYTHING and maybe use a bug bomb,
And neem oil can be used as a deterrent also.

Im not to worried about the plants in flower now as I will be cutting them in a few days. when I cut them I will chop them down and drown the plants for about an hour before trimming so that should kill all of the adults and eggs on the current plants. but we all know that some will fall off in the room during that process. the plants going in will be treated with the forbid so they should be fine for up to six weeks. just want to try and get the room as clean as possible so I can avoid this happening in another few weeks. the neem oil makes your stuff taste like shit even if applied early in flower imhe. its been a horrible yr for these things in my area. and its hard for me to actually get to all the plants once they are in flower a couple weeks, I pretty much have to crawl on the floor to get to them. so Im thinking like you said thorough cleaning with bleach and a bomb and then treat with the forbid. how long should I wait to move the plants in there? should I try to go through the mite hatch cycle with guns blazing? I was told that the forbid will kill all life stages and that I should just clean the room good with bleach, treat with the forbid and forget about it.

Mighty wash as a preventative/cure for spider mites . But as for your room, spray entire room with bleach and do the forbid if you feel you have to, mighty wash is a good product and if used as regular maintenance you'll never see another mite.

The most affective thing I've seen is mighty wash, has like 0 chemicals, its 99.8335% water and the rest inert ingredients making it not only the most affective BUT also the safest.

whats with the mighty wash? the local hydro guy is also a state forestry worker and he advised to never use the same chemical twice in a row to prevent the super mite syndrome. he claims that we are seeing a lot of that in our state now. he did recommend using three different kinds in rotation for preventing them. he said that avid, floramite, azatrol, azamax, and forbid were the best available. he also said for a one time end all within the first two weeks of flower that the forbid was the best because it kills them in all stages and can be applied to the top of the leaves. I question at first all the harsh chems and he said as long as I did not harvest within six weeks of using the forbid that it would be completely gone.

People plugging mighty wash. Just bleach wash your walls and throw a couple grenades of pest killer and smoke the room. works best. And if you ever bring clones in your room pre treat them first, also do not let your pets in your room most likely they have fleas or mites on them too.

im in the same boat as you. Im currently taking over my brothers garden. He too was spider mite infested so here's what i currently have done. two days ago i bombed both veg and flower rooms ( 10 x 12 ) with pyrethrum in each room sealed and with all equipment, old buckets, clones, mothers, soil, stakes, flood treys, fans, scissors, etc.. today i went back and tore everything out, bagged it up and threw everything away ( from researching forums ive read once you have them youll pretty much always have them, they just keep coming back). in tearing down all the mylar off the walls and ripping up the panda film off the ground i found black mold on the walls and molded, buckled up pergo on the ground. I set up a dehumidifier in each room to dry up as much moisture as i can because tomorrow i will go back use 50/50 bleach water to take care of the mold and set off 2 more pyrethum bombs to get anything the 1st bombs didnt get that might have lived behind the mylar or panda film. i feel this might be a little over kill but i rather be safe then sorry. once all the pre set up is done, i will re-mylar and panda the rooms and set some hot shots no pest strips up ( doing research on these forums ive read that they get the job done but do it by releasing a gas/ chemical- not the best way but it gets it done and for a veg stage i think it will be fine) and move in the new starts. like i wrote before this all might be over kill but ive never had a spider mite problem in my garden (knock knock) and from all the people that i have known that have got hit by the spider mite bug and have tried to get rid of them, it always fails, they seem to always come back. So i said to myself why not just throw everything away and start over... i guess time will only tell if what im doing will work ....if it doesnt, you will see me re-posting in a month or so...

Steam-clean, then clorox, then alcohol, fogger, clorox, alcohol, no pest strips until week 3 of flower, then take them out.

Miticide when you transplant obv.
