Springtails?....how do i get rid of them and how much damage can they do?..pics also

So here is a pic ofthe clones i have going. I started them 12/12. And this is the best pic of the worms i have on the roots given the camera I am using. Soooooo? Anyone know what it is or what to do about it? I have been told they are springtail but do not know what to do to get rid of them or how much damage they are capable of doing? Can anyone help with this please?​

I'm actually growing DWC so no soil involved. They are crawling around on my roots!! have'nt notced any damage yet. I have just been picking them out so far. Someone suggested usung Murphy's oil soap?...Has anyone ever heard of this? I guess just add a bit to the water and it supposedly will kill em? I have effin clue....DAMN!!!!

Try 35% hydrogen peroxide 5ml/gallon. That should get rid of them. Spring tails are not a danger they feed on dead plant matter (dead root matter). They only become an issue if they get out of control. I had them smaller variety tiny white dots to the naked eye. H2O2 a week and all cleaned up. H2O2 will kill any beneficial bacteria though.
