wtf is this bug eating my plant?

so i've been seeing leaves with little holes but couldn't see any caterpillars or anything. today i found this little guy. what the hell is it and could it be eating my shit. leaves are all round looking, curled and twisted. ph is dead on and so is fertilization.

that is a lady bug larvae its eating anything that may try and eat your plant

it will shed its skin and look like the red shelled beetle , its growing now eating all the bad insects that could do harm to your plants , then it changes and goes out to find another lady bug to make more of those little creatures you found ,

I'm in central cali and have seen these bugs before but never knew what they were. googled ladybug larva though and sure enough. never would have guessed it in a million years!
