spider mite idea

Ok guys heres the problem and the my hair brained idea.
problem: I got the spider mite

?solution?: I have a sealed room; I am going to use a firends ozone generator (which converts usable o2 into o3) it industrial and crank it up to danger levels and remove ALL the o2 from the room, to counter I'm going to crank the Co2 up high.

my theory, remove all the o2 and o2 breathing organisms will die.

does anyone have any thoughts on this?

i would say that its iffy at best little organisms like spider mites dont need much o2 to survive and unless your in a complete vaccum you wont be able to get rid of it all
Its easier and more effective to just get you and a mate to come in and bleach sterilize everything including your self (to some extent) just scrub clean every damn inch of the room
Thats what i did and i had no probs after
Also know several others that have used this method with success.

yeah, thats my concern, illimenaing ALL usable o2 especially since the plants will emit o2.. damn it!

I am planning on doing a complete scrub down no matter what but I have heard all the war stories of bugs (this is my first time) and I don't want to fight that war. I'm a fan of the nuclear option.. lol

Anyone ever try lady bugs? maybe a full room clean and 1000 lady bugs..

There are predator mites that you can get that are successful at keeping the mites at bay. Those are fine to finish a crop but are not the nuclear solution you are looking for.

have you tried the predator mites before? I heard they bite humans and I don't know what there diet consists of besides mites. I don't need to fix one problem by starting another.. I am not against the idea I just don't know enough about them yet.

I am so pissed..

Malathion 50 mixed at 10ml/gallon. Spray the plants, the soil surface and the space it's self. Don't use with in 2 weeks of harvest.

I just nuked a pretty severe thrips infestation with it 21 days a go. Haven't seen another live one since.
