Default Important!!! SupEr MiTEs
I want everyone to know of this, I feel that it is not told to enough growers and should be known.

When treating for mites alternate your method of attack with different products, this will avoid contributing to a constantly evolving group of super mites.

What is a super mite you say
..
it is the creation of a pesticide resistant mite, therefore undefeatable, its already happening in mendo and BC. What happens is; a grower gets mites, he attacks with azatrol this kills every mite but maybe 2 or 3, they breed and you see them and the process starts over, he sprays again with azatrol. After the mites have servived a few sprays and bred with other survivers, this creates an azatrol resistant mite. The grower now moves to a new product and proceeds to make his already mutant mites even stronger by making them immune to each insecticide one by one. Then these mites hitchhike on the grower or a clone and breeds into other gardens.

So Please Dont contribute to the SUPERMITE gene pool!!!

Ladybugs are crap, if you have ever actually used them they dont do shit, they just huddle together in ur grow room and if they do ever venture towrds the plants they just walk around the rim of the pot for a few hours. They do seem to do alittle more work in the veg room but still wont keep ur mites down.

I used neem oil every week with my foliar feeding, this makes the leaves taste bitter and the oil gums up the spidermites mouth, however neems oil is not a good attack method if you already have mites, it takes about 10 days for the neem to take affect on the mites. On top of that the plants love it and it makes the leafs very healthy.

If i ever do get mights I used an alternating attack of azatrol and safer possasium soap.

so all of my products are organic and bio friendly, not nessasarly saying to use Chemical or organic pesticides but just that when you do dont just stick to one thing, alternate it so you dont end up creating a supermite
