Default ladybugs
I have two young plants growing indoors in a very controlled environment. Lighting, temperature, ventilation, and nutrients all seem to be very close to perfect thanks to all the great tips and solid info I've gotten from all of you. The only problem Ive run into is ladybugs. i'm not sure how the hell their getting in my closet since it's a sealed space in a room where the window is never open, and i have even placed screens over my ventilation ducting. Are these bugs bad for my plants, and if so how do i get rid of them? right now i'm having to check my plants every few hours and pick them off by hand, and as much as i like spending with them i just don't have the time to do this for the next 3 or for months! any help would be much appricated

Lady bugs are your friends and are attracted to high humidity. They will not harm the plants.

Post a pic of the "ladybugs"

I think the invasive asian variety isn't good for your plants, while other types are predatory and are good for your plants.

Around this time of year asian ladybugs are looking for a warm place to overwinter and your house looks inviting to them. They're beneficial bugs and they're not gonna hurt anything. I'd just leave 'em be. The asian ladybug is a predator, although there are many types of beetles that are ladybug mimics. I've never heard of any of these types of bugs (either ladybugs or their mimics), though.

thanks for all the answers, i'm not sure why but the ladybugs all disappeared about a week later anyway...i can only hope it was because of lack of food
