can you put the soil in an air tight ziplock and kill the infestation???? no adults flying around means eventually the eggs will die out right????? this bag is completely air tight 2. like there isnt a chance in hell an adult could live in there with no water or air. so this is a natural solution right????

all you got to do is microwave your soil

i have a similar problem but its in my plant that's almost matured

The number one thing a grower can do to decrease the gnat population is not overwater. If you cut your watering back to only when necessary, most of them will move on or die off.
