Sannies Herijuana is an IBL (In-Bred Line, true breeding). I haven't used it, but am getting ready to. It's a real downtown, sedating indica. The polar opposite of SSH-could be a good match.

A lot of people use Blueberry (DJ Short) (also IBL) to get the fruitiness/flavor).

kc 606, himalayan, hindu kush, skunk #1, brazilian sativa,(for brazillian sativas, im preferential to the manga rosa)... then others include afganistan indica... then on to the other stable hybrids of NL#5 then haze and then also their hybrid called neville's haze...

so any of those will do etc... since you are looking for stable genetics...

another thing is... phenos will alter in any # of given seeds produced from the mother plant so any plant can produce several phenotypes, so if stability is what you are concerned you would need to have the closest thing to a landrace strain that hasnt been over "hybridized" as possible... a pure strain...

if you do have a highly hybridized strain, and then breed a male and female of the same phenotype of that strain, then that F1 hybrid will generally produce like genetics of its parents...

however, after successive generations, eventually those seeds will start to branch off in a different line and end up with more and more differentiated pheno's, so essentially after a while genetic diversity kicks in and you've lost the original likeness in the genetic makeup...

what's best... is if having to cross an already highly hybridized strain, then you'll need to keep the inbred line going, several generations before stability will be consistently producing only so many pheno's... so basically you want to lean the makeup of the plant to complete dominance, by repeating the dominant line...

so that way that line will now be stable enough, and then you can cross it with another pure landrace strain and it's now new F1 hybrid generally will be some very quality offspring...

if youre just looking to cross two already hybridized strains just for kicks and giggles though just to play with the F1's you can get out of them, then... you can just take any couple of different strains, say NL#5 X AK-47... or some other strains like the already known, haze X original blueberry (blue haze) or when SSH X original blueberry... I like to call it...(silver surfer)...etc... and then just see what great pheno's you can get out of them and you'd be surprised what really good genetics you can end up with...

Well folks, we have feedback about genetics I read long ago,
    Father vamosa get a stallion

We start from a base of 30 seeds, which suppose sexamos 15 males and 15 females, the males depart to a place where they can not pollinate the females, and label it as Parent 1, P2, P3, P4, etc ...

Then we put them in bloom at the same time we would have already prepared cuttings of the best female of the 15 we have, we label the cuttings as Cutting 1, E2, E3, E4, etc ...

    The next step is to make a controlled pollination x E1 P1, P2 x E2,
    etc ...

The seeds from these crosses the germinate, while
keep the males in vegetative, and the result we obtain from the
previamentes labeled sprouts know which is the best male,
thus we have a room with a macho stud in the same
process could be repeated but the contrary, which we will obtain the best
Mother, this technique will always have a stallion to cross with other
varieties and get good seed, well I hope I have described the technique

is removed from the site Cannabiogen: www.cannabiogen.com

    Sire selection
The selection of the males as studs to provide favorable genes for the production of cannabinoid-rich resin, is one of the most complicated tasks, mainly for two
Reason: The evaluation of the power among men is a task that requires
expensive material laboratory using chromatographic techniques which
the known with the acronym TLC, HPTLC, HPLC or GC, mainly. The second
why would confirm that an individual is homozygous for that character and that
contribute to the offspring of a certain or secure high-status
power, often what we will be male hybrids and will
heterozygous condition for which contribute only to a part of the
    offspring of high-powered character.

A single current grower will be able to assess the contribution to the power of men
female offspring selected from them, through tastings or
analysis. Can also be seen under a microscope or a magnifying glass of 30-50
increases when it is close to opening the first flowers of the
clusters, the number of globular trichomes stalked (stalked) or sessile (without
peduncle and somewhat flattened head) per cm2 or mm2, located in the leaves
secondary and on the edge of these, coming from the tops of flowering. The
greater the number of these types of trichomes are better trained plant
for the production of resin and THC. The power or ability to biosynthesize
THC is completely transmitted by males to the offspring and contribute 50%
    of its total genotype.

It is always essential to maintain the original parents or cuttings of the same to check the status of a stallion or insurance. This, although it increases the work and seems a waste of time, you must make and maintain while adopting measures that can
called "guidance" that outline phenotypic characteristics for
making a suitable selection and which simultaneously provide good results
studies. After making your selection, we will play the parental
selected by themselves or through their cuttings.

The most common system for assessing the quality of men, is making a
controlled pollination with several cuttings of the same female. Each male
selected a cutting pollinate the female. These cuttings have
maintained under identical environmental conditions. The seeds resulting from
each cutting are then cultured and the offspring is tested by tasting
to check the psychoactivity, while also evaluated phenotypically
to determine which of the crosses is the most successful. When the group with the
female offspring of the more desirable is identified, the man responsible and
your cuttings are also identified as such. Males can be stored in
vegetative state exactly like the females. Plant cuttings
selected male and female cross and reproduced when required
get a seed or seed collection, which will be uniform
only for the selected characters when the parents come from
    pure lines.

The measures guidance for the selection of a stallion,
may vary according to tastes and concepts every breeder, as there will be growers
who do not mind a little late flowering and maturity and a
high performance at the expense of power. Today are also very
Fashion plants with subtle aromas and flavors, so it could be a
character that might appear in the second place, even before the power.

First of all there is to confirm full fertility and viability
pollen of the male, given the large number of sterile males
are occurring or are carriers of genetic defects that are usually
noticeable in the leaves and flowers. If you notice any malformation
dismiss the man. These males may develop flowers that do not open or
they can open the sepals showing some anthers lacking pollen. When
there are one or a group of these flowers, although there are others that provide
    viable pollen, discard the plant.

Among these measures we highlight the following guidance in order of importance:
    1. A strong sexual (dioecious) in anticipation of avoiding hermaphroditism.

    2. High levels of THC in the event that wants to maintain a high power.
    3. A remarkable vigor and strength that generate large plants and
resistant. Thick stems holes are indicative of large size and
robustness and contribute to the offspring.
    4. A dense structure with short and highly branched, bearing in mind that men are taller and spiky than females. An intense and profuse flowering of the male
be transmissible, quite possibly, the two sexes in the offspring
will result in a more compacted and dense flowering in females.
    5. Plants that stand out for the aroma and flavor.
    6. Early and uniform flowering is another interesting character for gardeners in temperate climates.

The males flower earlier than females and have to separate isolated
as they begin to develop preflores, can keep
viable by selective pruning of floral bouquets to the stage of
Peak flowering females (to 30/40 days starting on hand
photoperiod), when they have to be pollinated. It is not necessary to pollinate the
plant in full. Using a hand-pollination of buds located in
middle and lower branches, we may retain some seedless bud intact.

If our intention is to get a hybrid F-1, should always
selected at least two males of the same variety that approach the ideal.
Pollinations are performed on two or more cutting, cultured in
same environmental conditions, the same mother plant selected as
stallion. These two lines are kept separate through inbreeding
(Blood relatives, including siblings), repeating the selection of a single male and
several females in each generation. When we take SEVEN generations (in
cannabis for its dioecious character), we cross the two lines
regain strength and get a hybrid F-1 commercial grade
certified. In monoecious plants is usually enough for FIVE inbreeding
generations. Each of these lines are called "pure lines" and its
sires are homozygous for the selected characters.

In females it is easier to evaluate the phenotypic expression of genotype. We note
the amount of resin easily, and the types and number of hairs, the
Once we can taste it in stages to assess their potency. The smell and
aroma is manifested in higher degree, likewise observed that the maturation
flower is earliest and most importantly, continuous and progressive. As measures
indicative of selection for females, we highlight the following:

    1. Strong tendencies to avoid sexual hermaphrodites.
    2. Vigor
    3. Resin production capacity and quality
    4. Floral structure with short and very forked branches
    5. Performance
    6. Flavor
    7. Odor
    8. Flowering and ripening early and progressive.
    9. Size
    10. Color
Always going to be very difficult to find all these traits as
dominant in a plant, we must collect and select which
consider most important in each sex, in order to complete the character
missing in one of them by combining with the other. For example in the
female may miss early bloom and scent, even the vigor and
performance, then look in the male these characters to be the
clear objective of the selection, ignoring the others. The hybrid
heterozygous achieved combine and complement the lack of a parental
genetic dominance of the other parent in the 1st generation. One way
checking simple recessive dominant genes, is by the technique
backcross with the parent to address the ideal, but this is more
complicated. With this technique we again combine the characters
we have selected and displayed in the offspring with the dominant
expresses one of the parents, so it will increase the dominance and,
Accordingly, the expression of that character in the new offspring without
need to provide additional foreign genes of another variety.

To take an example to the above somewhat crude and exaggerated based backcross
calculated amount of resin by weight of the extraction of the plant: Suppose
a mother who has a 75% resin and came across a man who brings a
25%. The offspring will be majority owned by "quantitative inheritance," which
tends to perform an arithmetic mean, the characters related to
proportionality, weight, size, etc., a 50% resin, although there will be
children who are close to the two extremes of high levels (75%) and low (25%). If
retrocruzamos a son of this seed containing levels of 50%, with the
mother 75%, will provide a new offspring will have levels
majority of 62.5% resin, and this time fluctuate between extremes
Minimum 50% and 75% maximum. With this system, we have increased the dominance
genetics to produce resin, without adding new genes trastocarķan the
    remaining selection parameters.

As a general rule, always select from as many plants as possible and choose the characters that have sought, discarding the rest. When you want to develop a hybrid F-1, must have subtle characteristics that differentiate you from the rest.

I'm planning to use sannies jack f7 to breed my keepers with.

Reason is bc it is almost/or is a mostly sativa ibl, very stable, and very uniform. I'm making my own stock seed of it in my closet. I only did the one grow of sannies jack and they were so similar it was hard to pick a favorite! I had to clone 3 fems and have them al outside now.

    Good luck
currently growing: Too Buku, Goji Og f2s, Pineappe OG f2's, Pineapple Thai Bx, NL#5 open pollenation seeds, Da Purps x NL#5, Herijuana, Killing Fields, Love Triangle x Goji Og, Afkansastan x X18, SSDD, Cheesequake, Hells Angel Og, Cheeseberry

most of the old classic strains are great for breeding.. i can't name how many strains today include either a skunk or northern lights in them..
i missed this post , my bowser keeps starting at the bottom lol

Deep Chunk is by far THE BEST Afghani on the market , there other good ones but Tom Hills is IBL since the 70s , breeds true for resin , color, taste, smell and everything else good
