  1. Fruitylicious may be a goner ... ALWAYS have a plan B!

    by , 08-02-2012 at 09:20 AM
For months I've known I was going to have guests coming into town this week, so I prepared for it and knew exactly what I was going to do with my girls during their visit. As it turned out, we had an emergency situation and I had to go to the relatives at the spur of the moment instead of them coming to me. I had already moved my grow tent to it's new location and everything but had not yet moved the girls into them. I kept them in the closet where the grow tent used to be with a plan to move them ...
  2. Satori is a girl!!!

First off I've got to say that this is the longest I have ever waited for plants to show sex! Then again, this is the first time that I have ever flowered under less than 400w HPS lighting so ... I guess that has a lot to do with the delay. I've been flowering 14 days today and am finally seeing a few white "hairs" appear on my Satori baby!! Yaaaayyy!!! I'm glad to know that she is a girl, especially because she is the healthier-looking of the two plants. Additionally, she grows full and ...

  3. Fruitylicious/Satori flowering progress

The lovelies have been flowering for 6 days now so the Satori's sex is not yet evident/confirmed. I placed wire storage cubes in the grow tent so each plant will grow through it's own individual "screen" if you will. I'm going to test these storage cubes to see if they are efficient for my first time SCROG. This grow has also become an experiment of a first time HO T5 grow start to finish. Here's what the babes are doing this week:

  4. Fruitylicious/Satori flowering time!

    by , 07-04-2012 at 08:14 AM
Now that my fruitylicious is 6 weeks old and the Satori will be 6 weeks in a couple of days, I've decided to go ahead and throw them into the 12/12 cycle. I'm really eager to find out if the Satori is male or female so I'll know how to handle the remainder of the grow. I wanted to wait to flower until my guest came and left, but hell, I can be half way through my flowering cycle by then!! I'll work up a plan for the week that they are here.

    Anyways ...

    Here are what the ...
  5. Messin' with the Fruitylicious too much!

    by , 06-30-2012 at 10:20 AM
So first off, I decided not to stress my babies with a full transplant 'cause I knew I wanted to do some training this weekend. Instead, I just filled my microkote pots half way with some soil and set my smart pots inside the microkote pots. If the roots come through the smart pots they will have plenty of soil to continue growing into.

Next ... I know better than to smoke and train but I did it anyway. I was real easy on my Satori bush and just pulled a few of her branches down and ...
