So after flushing them, and starting them on a feeding program of Botanicare Pure Blend Pro grow 3-2-4 they have grown more and are looking healthier. Still battling the gnats. Today I switched to 12/12 600watts hps, even tho they didn't grow as big vegetative as I would have liked. The Maui Waui is pretty scraggly but is taking well to the fimming/lsting i did. So started stage 2 of my flower. I let them flower for 2 weeks under stage 1 and will flower 1 week on stage 2 and then move to 3 and so on. so far all has been going good. small buds coming out and looking nice stopped all foliar sprays as well was giving them weekly preventative sprays for mold , fungas, and bugs along with dutch masters liquid light and penatrator. also added a new 200w cfl bloom light to my grow so we will see how it goes. as far as veg goes my clones are looking ...
Aside from being outside all day long which has to be better than grow lights, I believe that the LED is helping the plants grow wider, thicker stems and better leafs. It also seems that the plants that have been put under the LED are growing Faster than those only getting 400W Metal Halide. I can't prove it because I don't have a test facility, and I'm no scientist either, but I think the LEDs are helping.
