.
Alfalfa is a very common animal feed, lots of people feed it to their rabbits, sheep, goats, horses..etc..
.
Put a cup of it in an old sock, bash it with a hammer or brick, drop it in a bucket & add one gallon of water. Let it sit for (3) days. Swish it around a little each day.
.
Then water it in, at one quart per gallon of soil (in your container) or one gallon per plant (if planted in the ground). You can use it from seedling to the second week of flowering with no ill effects.
.
See growing Organic is not Hard or Expensive.....
It has only one drawback.... It smells like an old wet sock... Oh well, nothing is perfect.
