Upon moving to a new state from the bud promiseland... Northern California Napa Valley Area... To North Texas can really mess up a smokers world and turn it upside down.
No one here knew my slang and the prices for good bud was ridiculous! I wanted a 20 of bud, which in California is green bud unless noted otherwise seedless sticky icky. I got that 20 out here and it was compacted, brown, seed impregnated piece of shit "weed". Good bud also known as "DRO" is harder to find and costs an arm and a leg. What used to cost 40-45 for an eighth in Cali, now costs 60 flat!!!! So whats a die hard cannabis lover to do? Grow your own supply. So I got what was considered the best batch and threw some seeds in the paper towel... As soon as all popped I grabbed three and put in a small clay pot with miracle grow moisture control continuous feed potting soil. Now this was more of a science project than a legit grow. I originally used a 2700k 9W F-Tube designed for cabinets on a 18 hour light cycle for two weeks... Then I got a 100W incandescent bulb for a day then got 65W Plant light which was useless, I then got two 23W CFL's and a 18W CFL and vegged for another 2-3 weeks I used miracle grow plant food as a nute.
Once I started flowering I transferred to a bigger pot using new soil. Now that I am in the 8th week of flowering, I believe there might have been a light leak so harvest may be delayed I recently added a small computer fan to circulate air a little bit. She was burned by the higher watt CFL one day when my wife turned the lights on without checking the height, it was probably week 2 and was growing rapidly so the top was damaged and has now started healing. My set-up is super ghetto but promising. My girl has exceeded my expectations and I am glad I started this grow, the total outta pocket was 20-30 dollars since I used what was around me. She looks like she will give me a half ounce which is fine for me. My next grow will be bubbleponics with a Durban Poison strain... seems like a big jump huh? Well I have had 5 months to research!!! Here are some glimpses of her flowering days... all her veg days are on my cell which I am unable to load unfortunately.

O.M.- Keep your negativity to yourself. I am here to grow bud and gain knowledge, not justify the differences of our unions... And to answer your Q; no YOU didn't invite me, my college did. Happy growing!
