If you only have 3 feet to the light I'd veg to 1 foot and then flower. They stretch quite a bit when going into flower.

What could I even yield off 1 foot...I was hopin to get an ounce each plant at least..

hey dude.....im pritty much the same but i got just under 5 ft....u will be better off with cuttings rather than seed...as smokey2117 says ur gonna get some stretch..also if u do get cuttings u can top and super crop em to keep e small...my ak 48 is in her last week and only about 2.5 ft tall i took 1 down last week same 2.5 she gave me about 2 oz dry..good luck wiv it all bud

Hey, I would start with healthy cuttings well rooted on an NFT system and put the cuttings direct into flowering they still reach easy 3ft
how much they produce depends on how much you love them !!

I dont have any cuttings yet...Im goin straight from seed right now in soil..why are u suggesting cuttings.. So if I let it veg till about 1 Foot or so..How High do u think it will expand to when flowering...For the most part i know pruning keeps it shorter but still grows..I need it to branch out as much as possible for more bud sites but i dont even know how many bud sites can really produce with such small veg time..

hey man...if u start with cuttings that r about 2 months old u only have to veg em for 2 weeks if that sometimes.when i get my cuttings they r like 4-6 in tall..also if you keep topping ur plants they will become bushy have a look at my journal im doing some caramel ice from seed n they have only had about 28 days in veg and u can see my ak48 in some pics they was from cutting and they r only 2 ft

I was just checkin out your pics man...That plant has a lot of bud on it for being so high...Thats where i would like to get mine at..But I just dont understand why cuttings are gonna make it bushier than a plant straight from seed...I know topping makes it bush out...why is it better to use cuttings instead of just growing from seed to keeping em a short height and producing a good yeild or does it even matter...

hey dude...well if you start form seed you gotta give em about 2 months befour you can switch to flower(going by the book)..i just started wiv cuttings a few months ago and a the cuttings have already done 2 months on the mother plant all i have to do is give em 2 weeks veg get em to about 1ft then hit em with 12/12...when i get my cuttings they r only about 5inch tall.just befour i turn em i cut the hell out ov them so i end up wiv a small bushy plant..iv just cut both my ak48 i got about 3oz dry weed off each plant...as u can see my caramel ice has stretched like hell they only had 28 days veg but i dont think they will get over 3.3 ft..my mate always lets his plants grow wild he has the sapce but i can get more weed per plant than his tall skinny things..good luck wiv it all

That makes more sense..I just need to figure out the whole cloning process..How tall was the AK48 when u chopped it down?

hey man....both the ak48's was under 3ft tall as for clonig iv never done it my self as a pal has em all the time...but iv just made a small veg room out ov an old wardrobe so im gonna have a go at keeping a mother
