It seems like the lights dry out the soil to much to have the planted seeds under there. I had to spray them a couple times a day just to keep the soil moist. So I put them all back in the dark, all in plastic bags. Temp stays about 75F with high humidity. It seems like at least a couple should have sprouted by now?? It's been three days and they were all germinated to the point of cracking open. I'm getting anxious... this is the last of my seeds! Why aren't they growing?? I'm just going to stop messing with them and moving them around. I don't know what I could be doing wrong... this sucks.

IF You can Raise the light . What light are you running ? seeds can be put under anything really for the first week if you havnt got a cfl then a normal light just for a few days . untill it has some roots. Hope this helps.

you seem to be a bit anxious fella, how deep have you got the seeds, they only need to be a few mil down, also did you put them into the soil when they cracked or did you wait until the root popped out of the nut. normally i find that they pop out of the soil better when they are about a centimetre root in the the paper towel then transfer them to soil and put under a cfl which is about 7-10 cm from the soil. the seedlings can be fragile as you know so if your soil is drying out then you need to raise the light and make sure you get a soil for seedlings which holds a bit of moisture. im sure they will be fine and i know its horrible waiting for them to pop. i would not put them in plastic bags just leave them under light and they will be just fine. hope all goes well

lol i love how everyone thinks i'm a man... and i am totally anxious about it today... the thing is i killed like 15 seeds last week because they were under the light and the soil got dried out. i wasn't watering enough because i didn't want to overwater. now i'm more concerned about overwatering, but i'm trying to just keep the soil moist.

ok so put them back under the lights?? I have CFL's for veg, I can raise them up a bit. The seeds are only buried like 1/4 inch deep. I did put them in the soil when they cracked- a few had a little root. i have them in a mix of fox farm and coco. maybe i will keep them in the bags and turn the light back on but raise it some. i had it like 4 inches from the top of the pots. i don't want to keep messing with them and moving them from one extreme to the other, but i guess since they haven't sprouted yet going back and forth from light to dark doesn't matter much.

I actually have three tiny sprouts today. They are all from the Purple Power strain which is the second batch of seeds that I bought. Not sure why none of the Ice or Bubblegum made it, but I will give them (ALL) at least another week.
