well just got up and had a little look at my soaking seeds. they were all floating in my cups of water so i gave them a poke and they all sank. this is the point that i reckon they've soaked up enuff water and are ready to go to the next stage. i get a plastic tub with a lid and cover it with black gaffa tape in order to keep the light out, it also helps absorb heat. i line the bottom of it with kitchen roll and give it a spray with some water, not soaking wet but very moist. i've sat the seeds in and covered it with more kitchen roll and sprayed it again. popped the lid on and sat it on top of a radiator in my hall that my jackets hang above. this helps trap the heat so that even if my heating is off the retained heat should still help the process. I'll check on them tonight and give them another spray. i don't expect to see anything till tomorrow at the earliest and going by past experience it could take 2 or 3 days. I'll get some pics up when i find the bloody lead for my camera.
