Here's a little sneak peek as to what I've been up to since my last grow. I tried to do DWC again but the dreaded brown algae choked off the roots, so I had to transplant them into some sort of medium. I chose hempy and so far I'm very impressed with the growth and health of the plants, not to mention how much easier it is to take care of compared to the DWC setup. Assuming the bud turns out to be decent, I may be using this method in the future, possibly making some tweaks.

I vegged for at least a month, probably more like 6 weeks. Flipped the lights to 12/12 on 10/23/10. I've got 4 plants in the tent right now: banana kush, durban poison, and two kandy kush x skunk attitude freebies. The two on the rear screen are the kandy kush x skunk, the front left is the banana kush, and the front right is durban poison. All plants are a different age (and size) to experiement with stretch during scrog. This is my first scrog attempt, so I wanted to know how much stretch to expect once the lights are flipped in order to fill the screen properly.

600w Lumatek w/ aircooled hood
435cfm fan w/ carbon scrubber
2 gal buckets with holes drilled 2" up
75% perlite/25% vermiculite medium
Dynagro Foliage Pro for veg, Dynagro Bloom for flower
Cal-mag
