You need to identify the bug before you can treat it, but here is some generic advice:

Spots on the tops of leaves and little black moving things underneath mean spider mites. Look these up, but Neem oil is a good place to start, or go organic with soap and water.

Small flies can be taken care of with those no pest things from home depot.

If it looks like you have small spider webs in the tops of your plants or in the joints, it is definitely mites. They will destroy your crop. Read about them, but they come from dirty conditions, too much heat, dirty conditions, too much humidity, oh and dirty conditions. Remember, you're vaporizing these things and putting them into your lungs. If you wouldn't stick it in your mouth, don't let it in your grow room, no matter how small. When you toke on bad weed and it pops and crackles a lot, it's either chemicals or bugs. Good weed doesn't pop.

Diatamaceous earth can be bought at home depot, and you can sprinkle a very thin layer on top of the soil to disrupt them. Beneficial nematodes will take them out. Neem oil works but cna kil your plant if not done right. When we got hit, we took all the plants out, washed everything down in the room with bleach water, hit the plants with a neem oil mix, then washed them off with water, and this got rid of them, but it hurt my plants bad.

The best medicine is prevention. Read about spider mites, they are the most common enemy we face, and learn how they work to take them out.

    Good luck!

my friend who had=s grown for like 3 years says they are mites. but hes not sure if they are spider or not cuz theres no webbing. Im going to spray with neem oil and put it in my next watering. im also going to clean the room thouroughly and put down new liner and stuff vacuum cuz its carpet underneath tthe plastic floor i made of garbage bags.
ill try what you said how is best to apply the neem oil?

Do you have a Co2 burner? If so - turn it up.... kills them flat dead. Can kill you flat dead too - so be careful. I've also heard of putting duct tape - sticky side out around the bottom of the stem. Be careful not to go in your room wearing clothes you were wearing outside. The mites can come in on you.

I just finished fighting the mold gnats. Seems they love wet areas and often appear in house plants. They have a short life like 12-24 hrs. I tried the insecticidal soap on the soil surface with no luck. Added a glass of apple cider vinegar to attract them. That wasn't going to do it either. Finally, I added a half inch of sand on the soil. Worked like a charm! The other bugs really do sound like spider mites and I have found the insecticidal soap is best.

sadly no burner. its my first grow and only have the basics. ya im guessing thats how it happened cuz the grow is in my closet and so are my clothes. i will try the duct tape thing as a quick fix. i definately have mites tho. How do you make the soap? i have neem oil so im going to use that on them. anyone know the way to use neem oil without hurting the plants or at least minimal damage.
I really appreciate the help guys thanks.

Really research the dosage, you can kill the plants with that stuff. Be careful of heat levels too, high temps make them reproduce like crazy.

And don't try and get too fancy on your first couple grows with sulfur burners and stuff. If you're serious about the hobby, take the time to learn how to grow a single plant.you have to do a lot of reading. Otherwise you'll just waste money and could hurt yourself. It's called a burner for a reason. It has fire in it. Fire hurt bad.

the heat might be my problem its normal for it to be 90 at my tops since it is a 1000w in a small closet.

I have 3 at a month and 3 at 3 weeks.

just to shoot bugs out of the air Ii use 1 teaspoon dish soap to a squirt bottle. Dawn works and lemon scents also. While at store look for Boric Acid AKA Roach Proof/BugBGone 100%. use a baster to blow onto bottom jusy sprinkle on top. Shake off during cut down.
