I couldn't control the rolley polley infestation, they're were just to many of them. Never seen anything like it in my life. NEVER. It was like something out of the 12 plagues of Exodus. Fucking Horrific. out of 12, 9 in ground stealth, 3 in tree, only 1 survived. It was in a tree, and even it got topped. Actually, more than that survived, but they were put into what is now known as the room of death, and out of those only 1 other survived. (the first survivor I spoke of skipped the room of death and went straight under the lights.) It was beyond heartbreaking, but the war against the insects has not ended, and for the sake of future outdoor mj plants and for the rest of our garden we were expanding to the outside I will not rest until they are all dead!!! I was trying to stay organic with the remedy, but after this I'm thinking scary chemicals, and after they're gone, I'll dig up 18 inches of dirt and replace it with dirt and compost from home depot. My outdoor adventures aren't over, but they're definitely frozen until next year....

I have a solution for your insect problem. I learned this from my mother, not because she was trying to grow large quantities of ganj but because she hated using pesticides on her herbs and vegetables that we would later eat.

Go online and type in praying mantis eggs (buy these some time from january to april) follow the instructions to make them hatch when you are ready to start again. Basically you will put about a thousand baby praying mantis' into your garden of which maybe 50 will survive. however they eat all kinds of insects, and the first summer we used these at my parents house our garden was bug free.

Even if this is just a preventative measure (and should the need arise you can always use pesticides on top of that -although you will kill the mantis as well), it would certainly do a lot to make your outdoor garden a less attractive option for insects looking to munch on ur bud when they have to worry about being devoured themselves by long green twig looking thingys...

also praying mantis' are pretty fucking cool to have running around your garden.
