The one plant I had in Sunshine Mix 4 lost out to the Fox Farm's Oecan Forest the plants in the sunshine mix had the upward canoeing leaves and less hairs and the size of buds was like half of what the ffof was at the time. I didn't have the room for 6 plants I'm down to 5 plants in 100% ffof that were started in 18 oz cups and 1 gallon pots of sunshine mix for the first 2 weeks. So for seeds it sunshine mix 4 then ffof and for nutes it's advance nutes win over fox farm's nutes by a mile the color the perkeness is amazing all this time I though ffof was messing me up but now I'm I thinking it's the fox farm nutes all the time. I going to dump my fox farm's nutes down toilet and make a video of it the ffof is great but the nutes are trash everybody has .02

Looking good! I used ffof for years and then switched to sunshine which I found to be garbage, no offense to those who love it, but finally end up with ready gro. It drains faster than the others, which is what we want and stays very loose throughout the entire lifecycle. I amend it with several nutrients from the Down to Earth line first and have had some outstanding results. In fact this soil did so much better we traded out in the ffof in the large op.

I think it is better for water retention yes, but if you dont mind watering your seedlings each day readygro has superior root growth during this stage.
