Snapped Me Plant - What A Knob!!

Last night I tried a little LST on Fran (topped) pulling the two top colas apart to get some light lower down.
This morning I went in to move the position of the overhead fan that's hanging on lockwire and it fell off splitting one of the colas right where they fork!!! DOH!! LST to HST

I quickly used a bit of lockwire to pull the bits together as it was hanging on by a thread, it does not look too bad but only time will tell? I'll have to stop going in there when I'm mashed as I'm always busting something stumbling about

    the accidental stem splitting happened to me before too...in fact, twice in the last grow... but if you tie the stem properly and leave it for a week or two, it should heal just fine...

    Thanks for the reasurance, I have twisted one of those food bag ties round the split as well now and she looks like new. Two more weeks and I hoped to be harvesting this one but this will probably add another week while she repairs herself as you say.

    Dunno what your are doing doing LST during flower but anyway... As for the split, i've done it plenty of times while training and it's not been a problem, just get a bandaid or even masking tape (there is a special tape for this but forget what it's called) and tape it up a little, you wanna do it straight away though before the plant has tried to heal itself. Good luck, and try not to stress, canabis plants love being fuck with like this.
