  • Hello guys newbie here at roll it up and at growing. I was hoping I could get some tips and opinions on my clones that I have. Some have brownish/yellowish spots, and some the leaves are dry and burnt. I was wondering what It can be. Maybe heat stress, nute deficiency, or even nute burn? I have six of the plants outdoor, and two are indoor under 8 23w(100w) cfls in a 2x5 closet. Please take a look and let me know what you think. The indoor ones are growing in ffof and the outdoor ones are in a miracle gro organic choice mix with some cheap potting soil. I give them ff big bloom, tiger bloom, grow big, kangaroots and microbrew twice a week. I water them about every 3 days, but its been very hot lately, 85-92 degrees f, so ive been watering every 2nd day. Please give me tips on what this can be! Thank you.
first three pics are indoor All these are outdoor.

So a few days ago some leaves of different clones started to dry and turn brown and yellow. Others have brownish/yellowish spots, and ive even spotted white flies and other smaller, black and yellow winged insect. Hopefully its not the insects and its something minor like heat stress. Any ideas, or opinions of what this may be will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Iv'e only fed them twice, the first time with only 50% strength, the second time full strength. I'm suppose to feed them tomorrow also, I think I will go 50% or maybe 25%. I have the eight 23w cfls about 3.5 inches away. Is that too close?. On the outdoors, i have seen little white flies, and also smaller dark ones, with a little yellow i think. I have ff dont bug me insecticide spray, but have only use it three times. The outdoors get full sun from about 8 or 9 am to about 6 or 7 pm. It has been pretty hot here the last few days, outside temp about 89 - 90 f, and in my indoor closet high 80's.

Thank you for your input, I will try to rid the bugs, and watch the dose on the nutes. I have heard that ffof is a little strong, but the outdoor ones dont have ff, only one of the indoor, i believe.

Ok thank you. I've been told a few times the same, outdoor bug problems, indoor nute burn, so I am gonna straight water only with plain h2o for about two weeks. I sprayed the outdoors pretty well with ff dont bug me. I would of gone to the hydro shop to get the neem stuff, but kinda in a budget right now, I hope the ff does the job without hurting my babies. Thanks again homie.

Should I add soluble potash to the bug damaged ones? I heard its good and beneficial in many ways, as well as it helps to stay strong and fight off disease.

Update: Indoor plants are nice and healthy so far, outdoor ones are getting bad bug damage. I have sprayed the grape ape and the tahoe og with ff dont bug me, as these are the worst infested, but honestly the ff seemed to keep the white flies and other bugs away for a couple of days to only see them return, but not the spider mites, it seems like they never left! Need to try something else. I am also gonna clean up the area of where the outdoor ones are, as it is quite messy with weeds, dry grass and old lumber. I also found new webs on the outdoor infinite euphorias. Smart little fucks they had webs linking four different plants together! It was actually pretty impressive to see up close how these tiny entities build amazing bridges and how they survive, but it's either them or me so these bastards have to go! I am going to transplant tomorrow to a 5 gallon grow bag with my ffof/happy frog mix. I am also going to spray them with habanero spray after transplanting them. Hopefully the habanero spray will work. I also plan to get the hot shots strips, even though they are recommended for indoor. I will also get some strips for the indoor girls, just as a preventative measure. Pictures will be posted tomorrow.
