Hi, I'm using (2) Blackstar 240 watters but they really only pull about 130 watts each. For nutes, i'm using Subcool Super Soil which doesn't require any extra nutes. However, i am using Liquid Karma here and there Thanks for stopping by!

Ok cool. So no nutes huh, is that soil pricey? How would you compare to fox farm ocean floor? Thank you and youre welcomed.

It can get a little pricey buying all the different stuff that goes in it. It's basically designed to replace using nutes so it's pretty potent stuff. I didn't use every single thing but I used most of it. I think the Earthworm castings, bat guano, blood meal, and bone meal are the key. I'm using Liquid Karma because it has Humic Acid in it which my Super Soil is missing. So, you fill the pot up about 30-50% full with it and the rest of the way is just regular soil. That way the plants grow into it. I used Roots Organic (not the 707 version) as my base soil:

    Subcool’s Super Soil Recipe

    • 8 Large bags of a high-quality organic soil with Coco Fiber and Mycorrhizae
    • 25 to 50 lbs - Organic Worm Castings
    • 5 lbs - Steamed Bone Meal
    • 5 lbs - Bloom Bat Guano
    • 5 lbs - Blood Meal
    • 3 lbs - Rock Phosphate
    • ¾ cup - Epson Salts
    • ½ cup - Sweet Lime (dolomite)
    • ½ cup - Azomite (trace elements)

2 tbsp - Powdered Humic Acid

Oh, and i've never used Fox Farms Ocean Forest but it looks like great stuff. I think i remember Subcool making a comment saying it was a little strong so I went with Roots Organic instead.

Thanks for the info! I looked up subcools sup soil and it looks like i might have to try that later on. Sounds good to just have to water and not worry about nutes for the plants life cycle! Thanks again.
