I called it my "First" because ive attempted and completed many others but were more just screwing around, and this isnt reall a "Grow" box, it could be used as one i suppose but its a little small, im just using it for early stages of my Aeroponic system, I have all the components to my aero system and ill post those very soon, they are in disorder at the moment and i really dont want to clean all the stuff up right this second.

to keep this relatively short, ill skip to the basics, its a 5 plant aero system, i only have old bagseeds that ive posted about previously, im experimenting with a purely styrafoam way to germinate until i tranfer to perlite. I have 9 in my ghetto greenhouse, floating around in about 1/5 inch of water with a very small amount of nutes in there This box i made is a old dresser type thing, like 20 bucks ages ago at a bargain store. the 3 CFL's over the greenhouse are i belive 26 watt each. there is another row of lights next to them u may have noticed tghat are not being utilized at the moment with a 60ish watter and another 26er. i used cardboard to seal of the back and front from old boxes. a lot of gorilla glue a little time, a screwdriver and some ambition and heres what i came up wuth, any questions or advice would be more than appreciated.

Here are some pics, ill keep everyone posted WISH ME LUCK!!!!!!!!!

omfg nooooooo never ever start seeds in light or in nutes the nutes kill them and the light will too you need too put them in paper towels or place them in dirt or rockwool they will never start that way! think dark, moist and warm noo light at all they start underground any light on the taproot can have major effects down the road... Sorry but that's like one of the worst things you could do if you really want too start them out right put something over the greenhouse and place it on a dvd player or a hot water heater or something and only check on them every 24 hour MINIMUM one you see a taproot carefully grab the shell not the root with a tweezers and place it root down where ever your grow medium is!

yaaaaaaaaaaaa, well thank you very much and i thought that was very right the whole time i was doing that, its more of an experiment. thank you very very much though for the concern and the help. as a safeguard, i have another batch of the same seeds in the regular old paper towel method, they are about 12 hours er so later than those first ones. i have since put a piece of white paper over them to block some light but i really am curious to see if the taproot can survive, get used to a very small amount of nutes mind you nothing even worth putting in, like drops. and then sense that same light and start rooting, the way my system is, they SHOULD be able to do that and the taproot can grow down, away from the light, and under the styrofoam. then the other side sense the light and grow up. i guess we will see if it works out tho

again thanks a ton though for the info and the help

when you see the root wait till it's atleast a centimeter or more NEVER handle your seeds your oils on your skin can and will kill them. Just was making sure didnt want you too havbe all that work for nothing lmao scared me a little there! well leave them alone but yea I never though of it that way but I tryed too star 300 seeds in a little nuted down water killed every one... and then got one fem seed too try for a first time.
