My Journey with Northern Lights

CFLs were pissing me off. The plant was tilting to the closer lights. I decided to rearrange them.



NL#1 is looking healthier. She is growing fast now, already 5 1/2 inches tall! Her trunk has widened all the way to the soil and her seedling leaves are about to fall off.

NL#2's odor is getting pretty strong. I can smell her outside the door now. I will have to build her a grow tent this weekend to contain the smell.

She was repotted today. Word of advice: don't repot a square soil plant in a round planter. So annoying. The walls of soil did not want to stay open in a square.

NL#2 had much less root development. I guess I should of let her go at least two more days. If your plant loses leaves or grows slower than another, assume that its roots need more time to grow too.

NL#2 is at least a week of growth behind NL#1.
